NurKorn Bread

Our NurKorn oat bread completely renounces the use of wheat flour and yeast!
Oats, first mentioned about 5000 BC, became really "popular" already in the Middle Ages. During this time, the important field crop was increasingly cultivated in order to be able to supply the mostly poor population. Since the grain also thrives in poorer weather conditions, basic supplies could thus be guaranteed. The high position of the oat was only displaced by the potato on the second rank.
Nowadays, the grain is once again experiencing a real hype - it is even traded as a superfood. Due to the high proportion of oat flakes of 27%, this bread supports a balanced diet. Oat flakes have, among other things, many minerals and trace elementsNowadays, the cereal again experiences a real hype - it is even traded as a superfood. Due to the high proportion of oat flakes of 27%, this bread supports a balanced diet. Oatmeal contains many minerals (including magnesium, phosphorus, iron and zinc) and valuable vitamins.
In addition, oats are largely responsible for the high fiber content in the bread. Dietary fiber, for example, is particularly known for its positive influence on digestion and a longer satiety phase. In particular, the 4.5% high content of beta glucans in oats contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The numerous oil seeds (22%) such as sunflower seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds contain essential and other unsaturated fatty acids.
For those looking for something special, the NurKorn bread is now also available refined with chia seeds, quinoa and goji berries.
Chia seeds provide a lasting feeling of satiety thanks to their high fiber content and swelling. They contain a large amount of omega-3 fatty acids.
Quinoa, the "gold of the Incas", is an ancient annual crop. It contains all the essential amino acids. In addition, quinoa contains many minerals, such as potassium, phosphorus and magnesium.
The goji berry is considered a true miracle fruit thanks to its valuable ingredients, such as calcium, iron and beta-carotene. The berry has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for many centuries.
